There are kids everywhere!

Oh boy! Yesterday was a much needed mental health day, not that I got any health for my mental. It's kindof hard to get any kind of reprieve from crazy with four kids all under the age of seven, running around I know what you're thinking, "It was your choice to have that many kids!" By thinking that you would be right! But how can you blame me when my hubby is so fine! Seriously the balder that guy gets the more I adore him! Not to mention, he's a terrific father and he laughs a my jokes...that's a deal breaker friends!

So yeah, I have a lot of kids because my husband is really cute and I have no self-control! So, when I feel crazy, it's my fault! It's just that yesterday was one of those days. You know what I'm talking about and I don't care if you have kids or not, it was one of those days that you just want to lock yourself in the bathroom, take a bath, sit on the toilet and read a magazine, or just brush your teeth in the morning for once! You know what I mean right?

I have to say it's not all the children that make me feel this way. It's mostly one in particular. That one would be number three. Sophia. Or SOPHIA! Sophia NO! Sophia get down from there. Sophie, hey look at Mama. Sophie don't touch the baby like that. SOPHIE, that's my toe stop biting it! You get my drift. All day long I'm saying that girls name like it's going out of fashion.

Don't get me wrong. I love the child! She's very cute and funny. We laugh at her antics as much as we scold them. I'm just not use to such a busy child. The older two are more cautious. They listen a little better and they have age and experience under their belts. The baby, well, he's a baby and he still has that new baby smell, which makes you forget the fact that he's still not sleeping through the night and poops all the time.

Sophie, on the other hand is almost that magical age of 2. Two....... temper tantrums, teething, biting, hitting... oh the list goes on and on and on. For as much as two, drives me crazy it's also very entertaining. It's a catch twenty two. Or maybe God just planned it that way so mother wouldn't eat their young. He's so smart!

Okay, I had to take a ten minute break from typing this post. Want to know why? One word. Sophie. She literally just walked up to me and on her outstretched hand and with a smile on her face she said "Poo-poo, ew yuck!" Yeah, she pulled it out of her diaper.

  1. I totally get it! Thank you for the post... our "busy one" is Max, about the same age as your Sophie. Max also does the whole poo thing... Our oldest NEVER did this... glad I am not alone!

  2. I'm glad I'm not alone too! Sophie was very easy in the beginning and we had no idea that she was going to be our crazy one. I always say that Owen was lucky he was conceived before Sophia became mobile, or there would be no number 4!
